We are located in Ewa Beach, HI. The address of the studio will be provided at least 1 week before your scheduled session.

Yes, but you must cancel or reschedule your booking at least 72 hours before your scheduled session. Deposit is non-refundable if cancellation is issued 72 hours or less. This will offset the cost to cover the perishable flowers purchased, time utilized to pick up supplies & prep the studio. You are able to reschedule your session only one (1) time before your deposit is completely forfeited.

Yes! You have the option to pay in full or we offer a payment plan where a 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon booking to officially reserve your desired date/time. The remaining 50% is due at least 7 calendar days prior to your scheduled session.

Your friends/family members are welcome! Everyone can always use a hype squad! For children 5 years and under, we highly recommend adult supervision during your session. This is a safety precaution due to sharp thorns on plants, moving vehicles on the property and any other distractions that may attract the child. 

Absolutely! It’s more fun with a friend! Some of our guests split the cost of a session with their BFF or siblings.

Depending on how a person is sitting, our tub can fit 3 adults. 

If you’ve booked your own photographer, they should be able to give you a turnaround timeline. If you've booked our Dream or Shutter Haus Package that comes with a contracted photographer and/or videographer, you will receive your photos within 4 weeks & your video within 6 weeks.

Our original SHUTTER HAUS location is based in the heart of Honolulu otherwise known as Chinatown. This luxury indoor studio features various paper backdrops, lighting equipment, and podcast sets. It almost feels like you’ve stepped into a New York City loft! Our second location, Aloha Paradise Studio, is based in Ewa Beach, HI and is an outdoor studio with lots of natural lighting to play with! Here, we still maintain a luxe vibe but with a tropical twist that embraces Hawai’i’s unique beauty. In other words, we offer a wide variety of photo opportunities for clients to enjoy - literally from sea to city! 

No. How you decide to utilize your selected package is at your discretion but it will not lower the rate if you choose not to maximize the space.

Of course! Whether it’s celebratory balloons or a bottle of bubbly, you’re welcome to bring your own props! We simply ask that you tidy up after your session.
